Description:

Electrical and electronics engineering is the base for any plant. Every Engineer working in plant must be aware about the Electrical equipments and application. This is an Introductory course on Basics and application of Electrical and Electronics Equipments. What is power? How to use for an application? Such questions with operation and maintenance Motor, Transformer, generator and electrical drives will be focused.

This course aimed to understand the concepts of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. It will cover all topics such as Transformer, Motor and their control with Power electronics beside basics of each.

Day 2: Introduction to Transformer single phase and three phase

· Possible faults in Transformer
· Introduction to Transformer Maintenance and Protection
· Current and Potential Transformer Introduction

Day 3: Theory of Motor
· Operation, construction and various types of AC Motor
· Single phase and three phase motor
· DC Motor: Construction, operation and Application.
· Speed Control of Motor; Applications

Day 4 : Basics of Electronics Engineering
· What is Electronics? Theory of Semiconductor.
· Electronics Devices.
· Digital Electronics & ICs. Applications

Day 5: Introduction to Power Electronics
· Basics of Power Electronics
· Power electronics Devices: Theory and Application
· Introduction to Converter and Inverter circuits: Concepts
· Basics of Electrical Drives and Applications
