Description:

Electrical motors are the “work horse” of any industry; they provide the basic motion essential for any manufacturing or process application. Electrical motors and variable speed drives are used in automation equipment, manufacturing machines, material movement, machine tools, process equipment, and energy saving applications. Electrical motors and variable speed controllers are the most widely installed equipments in all industries and account for more than 90% of variable speed applications.

There is a growing demand for professionals knowledgeable in electrical motors and VFD(Variable speed drives) for planning, design, implementation, installation commissioning and maintenance of automation and related applications.

This is a five day introductory course. The course starts with concepts of electrical engineering, and covers all the major types of motors and methods of speed control, including protection and safety. The course has balance of theoretical and practical aspects of motors and drives.
