Dr. Sujata Agashe is working as consultant and mentor looking after industrial projects in the areas of Condition Monitoring, Instrumentation, Automation, and Process Control. She has an excellent background of both academic and industrial worlds.

She has worked on E learning Development for Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD) sponsored “Virtual Lab Project”. As a part of her project she was responsible as “Lab Developer” covering concept and content development (course notes/courseware, simulators, GUI for theory, lab experiments, tests and evaluation schemes etc.).

Sujata started her professional career with College of Engineering, Pune, as a visiting faculty. She was involved in conducting practicals for Basic Instrumentation and Transducers. She was also working with Hindusthan Instruments, Pune, for the development of instruments required for Sugar Industry.

Later she joined Bharati Vidyapeeth’s College of Engineering, Pune, as Lecturer. She handled various theory classes and Laboratories for Instrumentation related subjects for Production, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics departments.

Sujata joined Vishwakarma Institute of Technology, Pune, as a Lecturer in Instrumentation Engineering. She was promoted to Assistant Professor after working for about 5 years. She was involved in developing various laboratories such as Transducers, Analytical Instrumentation, Process Instrumentation and Biomedical Instrumentation. She contributed in developing State of the art training centres in PLC and DCS area.

She carried out her research work in Process Instrumentation field in College of Engineering, Pune. Subsequently she became Head of Instrumentation Engineering Department. She organized various National and Internat ional students’ events, seminars and Conferences. She has number of National and International publications to her account.

Sujata has conducted many training programmes for students, faculty members and industry professionals.
